Welcome to Splendid Nutrition

I’m Tamla, a registered nutritional therapist, specialising in eczema and gut health.

My professional passion is helping individuals of all ages – adults, children, and even babies – uncover the underlying causes of their eczema symptoms and coaching them back to better health.

I approach each client with a holistic and personalised mindset because I firmly believe that no two people are the same. Many of those I work with have already explored numerous avenues for relief before finding their way to me.

My own journey to healing was marked by a challenging battle with eczema, which began in childhood and persisted into adulthood. Through this personal struggle, I accumulated a wealth of knowledge into eczema over the years. These experiences motivated me to pursue further education on the subject, ultimately achieving professional qualifications that empower me to effectively support my clients.

In your initial consultation, we will delve deep into your medical history, food intolerances and environmental factors that could be contributing to the root causes of your symptoms. This comprehensive analysis allows us to craft a unique and tailored nutrition plan just for you.

Together, we can embark on a journey towards healthier skin and better overall well-being. I look forward to being a part of your path to greater vitality and comfort.

How can Nutritional Therapy help you?

Everybody is different. This is why I take clients through a detailed medical history questionnaire and build a personalised plan, tailored especially for you.

Tamla is experienced in working with the following health situations:

Gut Microbiome

Our guts are hosts to trillions of tiny organisms, collectively known as the ‘microbiome’.

This collection of bacteria, fungi, viruses and yeasts weighs around two kilos and lives in commensal harmony with us. They need us to host them and we need them in order to survive. We live completely co-dependently with our microbiome and like any relationship, it can be a healthy or less healthy existence.

Five steps to better health

Changing our food habits and routines takes practice, time, and guidance. I’ll take you through five steps to support you back to better health.

Step 1. Finding out about you

Your first session is all about you. I’ll take you through a detailed medical history questionnaire to build a comprehensive and holistic picture of your health situation. This process enables me to identify potential root causes, triggers and mediators of your condition.

Step 2. What are your main goals?

We will identify your objectives and prioritise the symptoms you wish to address.

Step 3. Learn how to use your nutritional toolkit

I will build a detailed and personalised plan, based on your medical history and personal health objectives. Your plan will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack ideas, as well as foods to steer clear of. I may also suggest supplements that may be helpful and in some circumstances, functional testing.

Step 4. Support and guidance

As you begin your new plan, I will be there to support and guide you and keep you on track if needed. While the plans are easy to follow and enjoyable, change can feel tricky to start with, so support is there if you need it.

Step 5. Enjoy success

For me, the best part of working with clients as a nutritional therapist is meeting them after their plan and hearing (and seeing!) how well they are doing. I will be there to help you feel empowered throughout the program in such a way that you will better understand how food affects your health so that you can better look after yourself and your skin into the future.
